The Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) Report Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining financial reports in the general ledger application. The reporting specialist may also utilize OTBI, SmartView and BI Publisher to develop comprehensive reporting solutions that support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy an FRS reporting solution designed to ensure long-term maintainability, efficiency and scalability based on required EBS financial reporting components (R12 Financial Statement Generator Reports).
- Identify opportunities for improving reporting processes and solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to gather additional reporting requirements.
- Create dashboards, infolets, SmartView and OTBI reports to support business needs.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of report outputs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report performance, data discrepancies and report configurations.
- Create and maintain documentation of reporting processes, specifications and procedures.
- Provide support and training to end-users on various reporting tools and solutions.
- Provide comprehensive training to power users on OTBI and FRS report design and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in reporting to ensure data integrity and report reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in report writing with Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated reporting tools, including FRS, SmartView, OTBI and BI Publisher.
- Knowledge of EBS Financial Statement Generator (FSG) report design.
- Experience with Excel based integrated reporting tools such as Orbit GL Sense or GL Wand preferred.
- Oracle Fusion certifications preferred.
