This team is responsible for supporting and enhancing the company’s financial applications, including PeopleSoft (PS) Financials, Oracle Fusion, and Billing systems, at our headquarters located on the Pike and Rose campus in Maryland.

As a key member of our Finance Technology team, you will play a critical role in enhancing business operations by ensuring seamless integration, optimization, and maintenance of the Oracle Fusion applications, leading to improved efficiency, data accuracy, and streamlined business processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, upgrades, performance enhancements, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Revenue Management
  • Collaborate with third-party integrators and managed services for ongoing deployments, configurations, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the Oracle Fusion suite
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions
  • Communicate maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises twice a year

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of overall ERP administration experience
  • 3+ years of experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and related applications
  • Experience with at least one implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications
  • Understanding of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Experience with integrations to and from the Oracle Fusion Cloud environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrates key competencies to include Ensures Accountability, Communicates Effectively, Drives Results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to train internal staff
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion, including AI capabilities
  • Experience with business process workflows, functional/technical design specifications, data conversions, and overall data management
  • Knowledge of SDLC, IT Change Control processes, Deployment Methodologies, and Application Server Life Cycle Management
  • Relevant Oracle Fusion ERP certifications

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Manager, Software Engineer. You will have 7 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Oracle Fusion Administrator, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $132,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
