Introduction to team
Commerce Data and Finance Systems (CDFS) is dedicated to building the data and finance platform unlocking future capabilities to service the complex needs of our travel partners, customers, and suppliers. We are looking for a candidate with expertise in Oracle EBS R12 to play a key role in designing solutions in the Order to Cash processes.
In this role, you'll be a critical member of a team working with the business and the technology teams chartered with designing and improving the financial systems solution for our ever-growing business needs.
A high performing individual contributor who will liaise with business stakeholders, product managers, program managers and developers to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies and possess good integration knowledge.
In this role you will:
- Lead the implementation of Oracle EBS financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle financial applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to Oracle EBS financial modules.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their financial processes and requirements.
- Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to enhance business processes.
- Configure Oracle EBS financial modules to meet business requirements.
- Develop functional specifications for customizations and work with technical teams to implement them.
- Ensure system configurations are in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans for system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure issues are resolved before production deployment.
- Provide training to end-users on Oracle EBS financial modules and new functionalities.
- Develop and maintain user manuals, configuration documents, and other relevant documentation.
- Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring for Oracle financial system projects.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience designing, implementing and supporting Oracle Financials R12 in a complex, multinational, multi-GAAP environment
- Experience with Oracle Modules of Accounts Payables, TCA, Cash Management, General Ledger
- 2-3 full life-cycle Oracle implementations
- Good understanding of SQL and PLSQL
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Financials
- Customer focus, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Well-versed with Agile Methodologies
- Ability to multi-task and handle design for multiple enhancements in parallel
- Willingness to engage with different team members working across the globe
- Ability to balance self-sufficiency with asking for help/information
- Oracle certification in financial modules is a plus.
- Project management experience and certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
