What you will do
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Oracle DevOps Fusion Technical Lead to join our dynamic team based in Toronto, ON! The ideal candidate will have a deep technological understanding of Oracle Fusion Implementations covering ERP and CRM modules. We are looking for candidates who have the following experience:

How you will do it
Primary responsibility to provide technical services to Functional team for Canada Security Oracle Fusion ERP Application and execute UAP and Compliance activities.
Will be part of Global Oracle DevOps Fusion Technical Value Stream supporting other Oracle Fusion ERP systems within JCI.
Lead the development and support of Fusion extensions in the assigned value stream.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
Provides leadership on the development of technical specifications per business requirements translation.
Lead the successful delivery of systems, managing the implementation process end-to-end.
Designs and develops industry leading process improvements within technology environment ahead of any migration activity using their understanding of all end to end functional processes.
Coordinates and ensures data governance methodologies are adhered to within our regulated environment.
Implement DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime as part of Post go live Operational Support
Stay updated with the latest Fusion technologies and DevOps tools to drive continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Manage project timelines and stakeholder expectations effectively.
Oracle Fusion DevOps organization is supporting multiple Oracle Fusion Instances within JCI. Oracle Fusion DevOps Technical Lead will be the primary point of contact (SPOC) for all technical configurations and extensions supporting the implemented solution in the assigned value stream.
Analyze Oracle Fusion Enhancements/ Change Requests and Support activities pipeline
In conjunction they also need to be able to provide solution proposals, design, cost and timeline estimations to the business engagement partners considering the diverse IT application platforms across JCI and within the Oracle Fusion solutions space.
Work planning and prioritization for approved backlogs within the Value stream reviewing with BPO/GPOs, Delivery Leads and Oracle Solution Architects.
Capacity planning of resources based on approved backlogs for enhancements and support tickets to meet deliverable timelines provided to business stakeholders
Coordinate with other Value stream leads within Fusion DevOps, Delivery and Support leads for other Edge applications within
Scheduling, Reviews and approvals for production deployments working with Global Deployment/Release leaders
Optimize and effectively manage Enhancements and support ticket backlog within the Value stream reviewing with the team
Drive for Continuous improvements to reduce support tickets, automation eliminating manual activities wherever possible
Follow JCI Major Incident management process to address any critical issues (P1/P2) by engaging right teams
Share Value stream level reporting with KPIs for the Value stream with Global and Regional DevOps Leaders
What you will need
Required
Bachelor ‘s degree in Engineering or Information Systems
10+ years of overall experience within Oracle Fusion and Oracle EBS ERPs
Proven track record in delivery and support of technical configurations and extensions supporting Fusion ERP and CRM
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion functional configuration and solutions for small- and large-scale initiatives
Hands on experience within Oracle Fusion ERP, CRM
Ability to communicate with Fusion functions teams as well as Business audience.
This position requires exceptional collaboration, teamwork, influence and relationship building skills at all levels with internal and external parties in addition to Johnson Controls key values: Integrity, teamwork, excellence, Customer focus and Accountability.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Preferred
Oracle Cloud certifications.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
