The Role
Operate and optimize Oracle databases for business-critical customer systems. Standardize and automate platforms and operational processes using Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Oracle technologies across AIX, Solaris, Linux/Unix, Exadata Cloud@Customer, and OCI environments. Collaborate in agile teams, improve platforms continuously, and automate manual operations. Oracle administration and enterprise Ansible experience are mandatory; Exadata, OCI, SQL/PLSQL, RMAN, and Data Guard experience is advantageous.

You operate and optimize Oracle databases for our customers’ business-critical systems. Together with the team, you drive the standardization and automation of our platforms and operational processes. In doing so, you use modern Oracle technologies as well as automation and CI/CD tools such as Ansible and Jenkins — including in environments running on AIX, Solaris, and Exadata Cloud@Customer.

Your Skills
  • Experience in operating and administering Oracle databases
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Ansible in an enterprise environment, as well as very good knowledge of the automation and standardization of operational processes
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
  • Optional: Experience with Exadata, OCI, SQL/PLSQL, RMAN, Data Guard, or Agentic-Driven Operations
  • Interest in consistently automating manual processes and further developing platforms
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of workin
  • Enjoyment of teamwork and technical challenges
  • Good command of written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage
