Requirements
Oracle Core DBA:
- 10 years as an Oracle DBA with production support experience, including Oracle 12c and 19c and Golden Gate 12.X,, 18.x 19.x
- Minimum 2 years working in Oracle Engineered Systems (ODA, Exadata)
- Strong track record supporting complex GoldenGate Replication Setup across different release of Oracle Database and different release of GoldenGate
- Hands on experience on upgrading database to 19c
- Hands on experience on database platform migration
- Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture
- Experienced with implementations and upgrades
- Strong performance tuning skills
- Expert level knowledge with RMAN
- Oracle RAC, Data Guard, partitioning, compression
- Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control
- Hands on experience with scripting tools like shell scripts and Python
- Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; creative thinking
- Experience working on a 24x7 SLA based Global Support Operations team
- Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member.
- BS or BA in Computer Science or Business Management or equivalent work experience
Preferred Skills
- Oracle Cloud (OCI) including ExaCS and DBCS
- AWS and Azure is a plus.
