Your role, your impact
As an Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants Senior Consultant, you’ll provide the domain and functional expertise needed to design and implement the Projects (Costing and Billing) and Grants modules while ensuring alignment with business objectives and integration with other modules and external applications.
ResponsibilitiesKeys to your success
Work with client Finance and Accounting functions to capture and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality;
Identify gaps and advise clients on solutions, risks, and value based on Oracle Financials functionality and best practices;
Configure Oracle Cloud to align with solution design and implementation standards;
Organize and facilitate functional design sessions with cross functional stakeholders across regions;
Monitor the solution design, configuration and implementation against project scope, and escalate issues through appropriate channels when needed;
Develop and support use cases and test cases for Projects and Grants modules;
Provide support during testing cycle, and remediate and/or dispose of test case failures or anomalies;
Support project execution methodology, report on project progress, and identify and manage issues to closure;
Maintain the requirements traceability matrix and Oracle Cloud configuration accuracy;
Align departmental policies and procedures with the Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants implementation.
Keys to your success
Bachelor’s degree or higher;
Minimum 5 years of experience implementing Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants, including at least 4 implementations with configuration responsibilities;
Experience leading business process workshops, proof of concept sessions, conference room pilots;
Experience gathering requirements, designing, and implementing Projects and Grants;
Experience defining test strategy and supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
Experience using ERP solutions to improve financial processes and reporting;
Industry experience: professional services, construction and engineering, utilities, healthcare;
Ability to manage module scope against the statement of work and escalate issues as needed;
Ability to manage client expectations and communicate the impact and risk of deviations;
Strong understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes;
Functional knowledge of other Oracle Cloud modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, EXP, LA, FA, Payroll);
Familiarity with project management methodologies, Microsoft Project and edge systems;
Excellent communication skills: written, spoken and presentation.
