JOB SUMMARY:
A Lead Consultant at Argano is a highly experienced professional within the consulting practice, responsible for managing mid- to large-scale client engagements while driving the growth and development of the broader consulting function. Lead Consultants deliver expert guidance, strategic advice, and technology-driven solutions that help clients optimize their infrastructure, processes, and overall technology strategy—enabling them to achieve their business objectives more efficiently and effectively.

In addition to their client-facing responsibilities, Lead Consultants serve as indirect mentors across teams and experience levels, sharing knowledge and best practices that strengthen the wider practice. Their work spans key domains such as security, data management, and crisis management, and demands a deep, well-rounded command of technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Align clients' existing business processes and procedures with validated HCM Cloud methods to solve client needs
  • Apply functional knowledge and expertise, in collaboration with the technical consulting team, to implement business-aligned Oracle Cloud solutions
  • Lead client workshops to formulate functional business requirements and align them with Oracle Cloud functionality and overall solution delivery
  • Identify requirement and design gaps, and develop solutions that align with overall solution delivery
  • Configure the Oracle Cloud environment to meet client requirements; design and document application setup
  • Advise clients on options, risks, and impacts to other processes and/or systems
  • Manage the module track of the project, including:
    • Scope and client expectations for your module
    • Project risks, communicating proactively with the project team to avoid and mitigate potential issues
    • Project team members throughout the project lifecycle, including coaching and feedback on design, configuration, and documentation
  • Lead and support clients through the execution of test scripts
  • Participate in internal forums for training, teamwork, issue resolution, and innovative design
  • Serve as a visionary leader in the Oracle Cloud space, driving innovative product solutions
  • Mentor Associate and Senior consultants

 MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of four (4) full life cycle, hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud implementations within your module of expertise, with demonstrated command of best-practice solutions, product integration impacts, and support/troubleshooting
  • Module-specific experience in Core HR, or Recruiting and Journeys, is required; related industry and consulting experience with competing product sets (Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP, etc.) will also be considered
  • Oracle certification in your module of expertise
  • Comprehensive understanding of Oracle Cloud implementation methodology, including the common challenges faced by clients and implementation teams
  • Strong grasp of client data movement to external systems, with the ability to advise on upstream and downstream impacts
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale projects, with a solid understanding of business drivers and constraints
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills, with a consistent commitment to quality and on-time project delivery
  • Skilled at managing communication with senior client stakeholders—able to navigate both the big picture and the finer details
  • Proven track record of building long-lasting client relationships
  • Genuine willingness to share skills, knowledge, and expertise with Associate and Senior consultants
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current on Oracle Cloud trends and releases
  • Willingness to travel as needed

SKILL REQUIREMENTS 
 

·         Communication: Proficient in English written and verbal communications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders

·         Complex Project Management: Senior Consultants are responsible for leading multiple complex projects, necessitating exceptional project management skills

·         Thought Leadership: Providing thought leadership and industry expertise is critical in projects

·         Client Acquisition: They should have strong business development skills to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships

·         Mentorship and Coaching: Indirectly developing and coaching junior and mid-level consultants is a significant responsibility

·         Strategic Vision: Senior Consultants should contribute to the firm's strategic vision and decision-making

·         Executive Presence: The ability to interact effectively with senior client executives is important
