We are seeking a skilled Oracle OGL Support Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in Oracle database technologies and replication/logging services. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting Oracle General Ledger (OGL) environments, along with database administration activities to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity.
The Oracle Apps DBA provides technical and functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), including installation, configuration, patching, cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. They act as the bridge between application teams and database infrastructure.
Application Tier Administration
• Start/stop all EBS services
• Manage WebLogic and managed servers
• Apache/OHS configuration
• Forms and Reports services management
• Concurrent Manager administration
• OPP (Output Post Processor) troubleshooting
• Cache clean-up and session management
• Patching & Upgrades
Apply EBS patches using:
• adop
• adpatch
• txk utilities
• Technology stack upgrades
• Java/JDK updates
• SSL certificate renewals
• Clone environments
Middleware Administration
• WebLogic administration
• JVM tuning
• Managed server performance tuning
• Keystore/truststore management
• Analyze request logs/output
• Fix workflow mailer issues
• XML Publisher/BI Publisher configuration
• OPP memory and performance tuning
Linux / OS Tasks
• Shell scripting
• Cron job management
• File system clean-up
• Disk space monitoring
• CPU/memory monitoring
• FTP/SFTP automation
Experience Range: 3 to 6 Years
Qualification: MCA/MTech/BTech
Skills Required
- 3 to 6 years experience with Oracle database technologies
- MCA or MTech or BTech degree
- Experience supporting Oracle General Ledger (OGL)
