We currently have a need for an Oracle Applications Support Specialist supporting a Global Network Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have Oracle GoldenGate experience. Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and functional support for Oracle applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
- Manage and optimize Oracle GoldenGate implementations for real-time data replication and integration
- Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of Oracle applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates and enhancements
- Develop and maintain documentation for Oracle applications and GoldenGate configurations
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical support issues
Skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle applications in an enterprise environment
- Proven experience with Oracle GoldenGate for data replication and integration
- Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Database, and PL/SQL
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Experience with ITIL processes and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional)
- Experience with Oracle Cloud applications
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware products
Physical Demands:
- Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing).
- Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.
