700Apps is looking for a talented and motivated Mid-level Oracle APEX Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle APEX applications that meet specific business requirements. Your expertise in Oracle technologies will be key in collaborating with other team members to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Oracle APEX applications, ensuring a high level of functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and create technical specifications.
- Implement database solutions using PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through proper database design and optimization techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with Oracle APEX updates and industry best practices to continuously improve application performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle APEX development.
- Solid experience in Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and database design principles.
- Experience with Oracle databases and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of web application development and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
