The Role
We are looking for experienced Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud (AHCS) Functional Consultant to lead the accounting design, configuration, and validation for integrating POS data into Oracle AHCS and Fusion GL. This role will define accounting event structures, rules, and mapping logic to transform raw POS data into valid, auditable accounting entries within AHCS, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and automation.Key Responsibilities• Define source system setup for Agilysys InfoGenesis within Oracle AHCS.
• Configure event classes, event types, and accounting rules for POS transactions (sales, discounts, tenders, refunds, tax).
• Design mapping sets, description rules, and account derivation logic.
• Collaborate with OIC developers to align incoming payloads and FBDI formats with AHCS setup.
• Validate FBDI imports, subledger journal entries, and ESS job executions.
• Develop reconciliation templates to tie InfoGenesis POS totals with AHCS and GL results.
• Prepare MD050 and BR100 documentation and support UAT and go-live.Required Skills & Qualifications• 5–8 years of experience in Oracle Financials or AHCS, with at least 2 years in AHCS implementations.
• Deep understanding of Subledger Accounting (SLA), Chart of Accounts, and multi-ledger configurations.
• Experience integrating non-Oracle sources such as Agilysys InfoGenesis POS.
• Proficiency with FBDI, ESS jobs, BI Publisher, and UCM handling.
• Strong accounting knowledge (GAAP/IFRS) and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to partner with technical teams to ensure accounting accuracy end-to-end.Deliverables• Accounting Design and Configuration Documents (MD050, BR100)
