JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
1. Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the HMHD Compliance Plan.
2. Conduct reflects HMHD's values and a commitment to HMHD's Code of Conduct.
3. Attends the required corporate integrity and compliance training and education programs.
4. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding the materials presented during the corporate integrity and compliance training and education program.
5. Complies with all HIPAA standards.
6. Demonstrates good leadership by keeping the respective OR Manager/Director informed of departmental activities, needs, problems, and administrative matters.
7. Supports Director in decision making process.
8. Ensures time outs are done appropriately and within the specified time frame.
9. Consistently labels all specimens correctly. For instances of errors, please score the following: 0-2=S, >2=U
10. Consistently inputs all operating room charges.
11. Ensures AORN standards are being adhered to in the OR rooms assigned. If not, OR Manager is notified promptly.
12. Consistently expedites the turnover of assigned rooms.
13. Consistently ensures ALL necessary paperwork is present on chart before proceeding to the operating room.
