As an Optoelectronic Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our optoelectronics production testing processes. Your responsibilities will include supporting pluggable and Trosa testing at our contract manufacturers. Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL and JMP is essential, along with a solid understanding of optical communication and electrical/optical test fundamentals. Familiarity with optical and electrical test equipment and experience with vb.net and/or Phyton are highly advantageous.
Responsibilities- First line Nokia test engineering support for our contract manufacturers solving tester and product issues
- Tester training and deployment at our contract manufacturers
- Yield analysis, test time reduction, stability and robustness improvements and bonepile reduction.
- Utilize SQL and JMP for advanced data analysis, reporting, and test result interpretation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance test capabilities and share best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to optical and electrical test equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in optoelectronics to incorporate innovative manufacturing testing techniques.
- Support production transfers to other factories
- Support Global operations and R&D Team
You have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in optoelectronics product validation and testing, with a focus on optical communication and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly SQL and JMP, for efficient data handling and interpretation.
- Strong understanding of optical communication principles and electrical/optical test fundamentals, ensuring accurate test execution.
- Familiarity with optical and electrical test equipment, including their calibration and maintenance procedures.
- Experience with vb.net or similar programming languages for test automation, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling effective troubleshooting and decision-making.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices, ensuring professional growth.
