Role Description: • Labels and analyses samples taken at the customer site • Executes laboratory testing according to agreed upon standard procedures • Controls that all equipment used on site is accurately calibrated • Requests all indirect materials needed to perform the laboratory analysis • Records all data and results in specified forms (paper or electronic) with accuracy • Reports all data results to the PPG organization • Implements continuous improvement projects to reduce variation and usage • Organizes and stores all chemical substances according to safety instructions • Follows all customer and EHS requirements to manipulate hazardous products • Follows all customer and EHS requirements when collecting samples for testing • Organizes samples shipments to PPG labs following all transportation rules Specific Requirements beyond Band Profile / Job Title Expectations: • Required travel: 0% • Knowledge in operating laboratory equipment and dangerous substances • Knowledge of BPI as it relates to continuous improvement projects • Computer competency (Moderate
