We're looking for an experienced professional to enhance our expertise in holographic optical elements and collaborate with us in developing solutions for demanding customer projects.

In addition to our diverse benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary between €77,600/year and €93,900/year plus a variable component for full-time employment. For part-time positions, the salary will be reduced accordingly. Your starting salary will be determined based on your qualifications and professional experience.

Exciting responsibilities where you can apply your expertise:

• In this position, you will conduct optical simulations and characterizations to develop holographic optical elements for specific applications within customer projects

• You will design and optimize optical setups for exposure of pre-simulated holographic optical elements in application areas such as head-mounted displays, eye-tracking, and holographic optical combiners

• Analysis and evaluation of complex measurement data from optical experiments and simulations will be among your core responsibilities

• As a valuable team member, you will actively collaborate in interdisciplinary development projects with colleagues from various specialized departments

• You will contribute your expertise to implement new technologies and processes in the field of holography

Your profile to impress us:

• You hold a university degree or PhD in physics or a closely related scientific discipline

• Your solid experience with rigorous optical simulation methods (RCWA) or comparable tools in programs such as Virtualab, Zemax, or Matlab sets you apart

• You bring practical experience in volume holography or with optical surface grating structures

• Your sound knowledge in data analysis and statistical evaluation of complex measurement data is particularly valuable for this position

• You are familiar with common data analysis tools and related software

• Your strong teamwork skills and enthusiasm for collaborating in interdisciplinary teams make you an asset to our team

• With your excellent communication skills and cooperative work style, you can master complex project requirements

• Your analytical thinking and structured work approach help you tackle challenging tasks

• You have good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
