The Operations Support Representative supports GovDeals Account Managers and the Client Operations Support Group by completing project-based work, as well as recurring daily and weekly tasks. This role focuses on key activities that support GovDeals auctions, including quality control and bid deposit processes, and assists with Full-Service Projects where GovDeals manages aspects of the sale process typically handled by self-directed clients.
The OSR serves as a key point of contact, working closely with internal GovDeals teams, buyers, and third-party partners to support efficient transactions and timely issue resolution. This role requires accuracy, strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and excellent organization to manage multiple projects and daily responsibilities. Performance is evaluated based on the successful execution of assigned projects and processes.
Responsibilities- Manage full-service auction support activities, including auction setup, coordination, title administration, client communications, buyer inquiries, pickup correspondence, and defaulted sale processing.
- Support real estate sales initiatives by ensuring operational processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with established standards.
- Coordinate bid deposit activities with Account Managers, Finance, and Customer Service to support timely and accurate deposit processing.
- Review and audit new auction listings to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
- Monitor GovDeals.com for restricted asset categories and take appropriate action in accordance with organizational policies.
- Respond to inbound prospect inquiries and route lead information to the appropriate business development team in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support proposal-related activities by administering certificates of insurance and completing vendor registration requirements.
- Maintain, review, and update site documentation to ensure materials remain accurate, current, and consistent across platforms.
- Prepare, update, and maintain operational reports, including invoice/payment reports, tax documentation, and other specialized reports requested by leadership.
- Participate in testing and validation of internal software tools and product updates to support process improvement and quality assurance.
- Support special projects and operational initiatives, including aged full-service sale management, auction event management, and CAG Heavy Equipment Team activities.
- Shipment and processing assets in a warehouse environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education/ Experience:
- Associate degree in communications, business, or a related field preferred; experience working with government agencies is a plus.
- Four (4) or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in online auctions, sales, or a related field.
- Experience managing independent projects with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and with external partners to support project objectives and operational needs.

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands:
- This position is performed inside an office/warehouse environment and requires regular physical activity. Essential functions include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds. The role may involve repetitive motions, exposure to varying weather conditions, and walking in uneven terrain.
- This position is onsite at our Atlanta, GA warehouse. Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM.
Travel:
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business needs (up to 10%).
Pay & Benefits:
Compensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
The salary range for this position is $21.80 to $26.20 hourly. The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above. This range may be modified in the future.
