Job Description:
Job Title: OPS Admin III / Dispatcher
Responsibilities:
- Assigning pick-up request: Allocate pick up requests to drivers, OGP and OSP partners for pick-up of shipments base on the location and pick-up time transmitted in UPS system in the pick-up record.
- Scheduling: Help manage schedules for drivers and customers base on the pick-up time of shipments to ensure timely pickup of packages to avoid any customer complaints.
- Communication: Use telephone, cellular phone, text messages, and other messaging apps to relay information to and from drivers and internal/external customers.
- Documentation: Maintain pick-up records and other important documentations pertaining to work scope.
- Monitoring: Monitor pick-up status and driver location and investigate any delays or issues with overdue requests.
- Customer Service: Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to pick-up requests.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities and reports are completed on time and comply with company policies and safety regulations
- Reporting: Keep detailed records of all pertinent records and information related to dispatch
Qualifications:
- Education: College diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in dispatching or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using dispatch system and other relevant technology
