At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Gate Grinder to join our team in Groton, CT.  

The working hours/salary for this role are second shift, $18.92 + 5% shift differential

The Role

This candidate will perform belt grinding operations to remove gates from a variety of Company product castings. Exercising care, this role is responsible for smoothing and grinding gates from castings in the manufacturing process. This person will manually manipulate parts against abrasive belts to remove the gates, while checking the part for accuracy using micrometers, radius gauges, templates and fixed gauges.
