Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
- Program Graduation from Ophthalmic Technology Program (preferred) Or
- Equivalent Experience Two (2) years in a similar role in lieu of patient care program (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)
- COT - Certified Ophthalmic Technician (preferred) Or
- COA - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum six (6) months Providing direct patient care (preferred)
- Minimum one (1) year Assisting in a medical office or hospital (preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- Bilingual Skills Preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a timely manner. Medical terminology skills preferred.

Skills Required
