Position SummaryProvides administrative and technical support to an ophthalmologist in a clinical setting.
Travel between offices.

Job Description

• Maintains patient records and schedules appointments in IDX.
• Answers phones, greets patients, verifies correct billing information and prepares chart for office visit.
• Assists with the clinical work up of patients, including visual acuity, applanation pressures, history, keratometry, autorefraction, color vision, stereopsis and EYESYS.
• Instructs patient in the proper care and insertion/removal of contact lenses. Modifies and/or polishes contacts.
• Maintains inventory of materials and cleans instruments. Maintains examination rooms and supplies.

Salary Range$17.89 - $26.35 / Hourly
