Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator to join our team in Dundee, United Kingdom. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production processes, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Operate and monitor various machinery and equipment in the production line
  • Perform assembly tasks for different products and components
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections on finished products
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Prepare and handle materials required for production processes
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major problems to supervisors
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and completed work
  • Adapt to changing production schedules and priorities as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (SPM)
  • 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Basic competency in operating machinery, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Basic math skills for measurements and simple calculations
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts as required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude towards acquiring new skills
