Job Description Summary
This position works a 8 hour shift schedule Monday thru Friday from 11:00 pm until 7:30 am.Operators are responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining spray driers, mills, and screeners. Performs in-process testing on intermediate products and finished goods. Accountable to follow all SOPs and GMPs.
Job Description
- Monitor and maintain mills and screeners
- Obtains & hangs crystal over feed acrison to supply mill or screener
- Obtains a proper inventory of empty pallets, drums and sacks to supply their machine
- Perform accuracy checks of container weights
- Makes changes to the machine to maintain quality specifications as outlined in the production lab book
- Tests all necessary samples from their machine according to specifications listed in the production lab result books
- Fill intermediate/finished goods containers as described in standard operating procedures
- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials, transport products, and assist in material handling activities
- Inspect equipment to include, but not limited to forklifts, pumps, lines/hoses, fittings, ladders, etc.
- Accurately record all pertinent processing data
- Fulfill written work orders as assigned
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to regulatory standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- All other tasks assigned by supervision and/or management.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, reach, stoop, squat, climb ramps & stairs, push and pull, reach at or below waist level and occasionally overhead, drive (forklift), hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (machinery alarms).
