What will you be doing?
The production of corrugated cardboard and its processing into packaging is a very specific process. The start of this process begins with our corrugated machines, where corrugated board sheets are made. These sheets are then processed into boxes in the Processing department by cutting, folding, printing, and die-cutting them, among other things. And all of this, of course, according to specific designs, qualities, and sizes that are unique to each customer.
The Processing department works in a 3-shift system. As an Operator of our converting lines, you are responsible for the machines and equipment that produce corrugated cardboard packaging. You ensure that the production process runs safely and efficiently by operating systems and machines. You ensure quality by performing the agreed-upon checks. If you notice any deviations, you immediately take action. Once you have made all the production preparations, you ensure that the machines and peripheral equipment are properly set up. Your aim is to achieve maximum productivity and output. Together with your team, you ensure that the boxes are produced according to the standards and requirements of the customer.
- You ensure that you process the orders as described.
- You ensure that your machine runs at the right speed to achieve good production results.
- You monitor the quality and ensure that everything is running as planned.
- If there are any problems, you involve your colleagues in finding a solution or address your team coach about it.
What are we looking for?
- You have experience as a machine operator and have good technical insight.
- You speak and understand both Dutch and English.
- You work accurately and handle the machines and products with care.
- You can quickly switch between various tasks and take into account the KPIs to be achieved.
- You have strong verbal skills and know how to motivate and address people when necessary.
What do we offer you?
- A full-time position at a leading company;
- Starting salary of €2700,- gross per month (based on 40 hours a week);
- 28 vacation days;
- 20% shift allowance;
- A fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent position;
- A competitive salary with a pension scheme and travel allowance;
- A challenging job with room for further development and career growth.
