The Reliability Operator reports to the 1st shift Reliability Operations Lab Sr. Supervisor and is responsible for the prioritization of work, communication and completion of tasks as outlined in the responsibilities below.
Position Overview:
We are looking for Reliability Operations Operator Specialists or Inspectors:
- Placement and compensation will be determined by current skillset and experience
- All applicants must be team players highly motivated to learn the requirements to perform reliability operations critical for ADI product qualification, production support, and customer quality satisfaction.
- This is a hands-on position within an ESD safe 6S environment.
Requirements:
- The operator position requires a high school diploma. A diploma from a Vocational High School, Technical Diploma or Associates Degree is a plus.
- Must be a US citizen or from an unrestricted country
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and documentation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and maintains a positive attitude
- Ability to work within an ESD safe environment, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and a high energy and commitment to quality products are extremely important.
- Operation of a Windows computer with an ability to use MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel at an introductory level
- Able to use good judgment and a commitment to learn and develop new skills
- Solve routine problems to ensure that product teams can meet performance goals: Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery. Determine when to stop an activity if a risk to product quality or safety occur.
- Work closely on an overlapping schedule with other shifts to understand daily and weekly goals to coordinate your shift activity.
- Treat all employees, customers, suppliers and co-workers with dignity and respect. Embrace diversity and address unconscious bias in the workplace.
- Familiarity with C-SAM (Scanning Acoustic Microscopy) or medical/industrial ultrasound imaging a plus but not required
- Minimum of 5 years experience desired
Specific Responsibilities:
- Completes simple to complex routine functions independently as well as under the direction of experienced operators and engineers
- The associate will perform both manual and automated electronics reliability operations which may require the use of a microscope.
- Performs a variety of processes within Reliability, such as: board testing, baking, inspecting, device loading and unloading, biased and unbiased stress starts and stops, pre-conditioning, C-SAM, and ESD/latch-up testing
- Works under the close guidance of senior personnel in the functional area however directly reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Possesses an understanding of general aspects of the job including computer skills.
- Promotes and maintains a high level of safety and housekeeping within a 6S environment.
- Participates in continuous improvement programs along with engineering, planning, and manufacturing through teamwork and on an individual basis.
