Who will you be working with?

Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry.

 

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Paint Line department team, working on the 06:00-14:00 shift (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, you will be responsible to manually load/unload parts onto/off the paint line, checking quality of parts before/after paint process, cleaning and fettling using manual grinders, palletising, moving and stacking product using pump trucks (training given). PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant).

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

What about the physical demands of the job?

A manual environment, lifting heavy equipment with magnetic hoists and chain/strap hoists.
