Location: Shelton New Road, Cliffe Vale Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 7AR

Salary: Starting at: £30,450.49 (inclusive of Shift Allowance) with opportunity of pay progression on completion of training competencies.

Working at our busy clay processing site, you’ll be working in a team of two, working with both fixed and mobile plant including forklift trucks, hoppers, mixers and other bespoke equipment. The more common activities include, but are not limited to:

• Producing clay slurries using mixing processes

• Operating milling machines

• Lab testing using viscometers and moisture meters and chemical analysis (training provided)

• Loading/offloading trucks

• General site housekeeping

This role is working on a shift pattern (day and night):

Day Shift: Week 1: 6am – 6pm - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Wed & Thur off)

                   Week 2: 6am – 6pm Wed & Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off)

Night Shift: Week 3: 6pm – 6am - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Wed & Thur off)

                      Week 4: 6pm – 6am Wed & Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off)

What we are looking for:

Our team are hardworking and fun loving so you’ll need to bring your motivation, drive and enthusiasm. In addition, you’ll:

• Ideally have worked in a similar industrial environment

• Possess Health, safety and environmental knowledge

• Ideally have mobile plant licences / experience - however we can get you trained up

• Have good numeracy, literacy and IT competence

• Hold a full and valid UK driving licence
