Job Summary
Enterprise Information Services is responsible for Aerospace’s classified and unclassified enterprise IT environment. As a Windows Application Deployment Administrator, you will develop and maintain scripts and software packages for client operating systems, application software, and equipment. You will design and administer client management tools for workstations and servers, including management of system configuration, patching, and software lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You will work with client management tools to provide and maintain end-user workstations including the deployment of security updates, vulnerability patches, hotfixes and other updates to end-user workstations and servers
- You will develop and maintain provisioning scripts to add the latest security updates, software versions, hotfixes, and patches to new system builds
- You will perform in-place operating system upgrades as needed for workstations
- You will develop and maintain software packages for the enterprise software catalog
- You will create back-end processes and maintenance to keep the system running healthy, including changes to the core components and settings, software delivery, agent behavior and heath, reporting, and software compliance
- You will create and modify existing operating system and application packages based on changing variables
- You will develop adoption plans, including communications and training, for new software services at an enterprise level
- You will evaluate new technologies and lead cross-organizational teams to analyze, select, implement, and integrate these technologies with existing IT services
- You will anticipate future IT service needs and investigates the potential of practical solutions
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements Level II:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Typically, 3 or more years of relevant experience
- Experience managing multi-platform Client Management Tools or MDM solutions (SCCM, Intune, Workspace One, JAMF, Ivanti or similar)
- Experience in design and maintenance of client management technologies in an enterprise environment
- Experience with configuration management and provisioning tools
- Some experience with PowerShell writing scripts and automating processes
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements Level III:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Typically, 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Advanced experience managing multi-platform Client Management Tools or MDM solutions (SCCM, Intune, Workspace One, JAMF, Ivanti or similar)
- Expertise in design and maintenance of client management technologies in an enterprise environment
- Experience with configuration management and provisioning tools
- Experience in producing repeatable, reliable, scalable systems architectures, with high availability, fault tolerance, performance tuning, monitoring, and statistics/metrics collection
- Advanced knowledge in PowerShell writing scripts and automating processes
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
