Do you want to play a role in global commerce?

Prologis is looking for an experienced leader to develop the technology for supporting Prologis’ industry-leading Sustainability programs. In addition to leading efficient energy technology platforms such as Solar and LED, you will also lead Prologis’ global electric vehicle charging technology offering. You will design, develop, and maintain the technology platforms needed and work with relevant business and partner teams to develop a robust technology strategy for evolving Prologis’ sustainability efforts in the areas of Solar, Electric Vehicle charging and LED lighting.

We are seeking a driven leader who will directly report to the CTO and work collaboratively with the global leaders of the energy business, Prologis Essentials, Prologis Ventures, and our customer facing teams to develop recommendations for technology investments and prioritization. 

What’s needed in order to do that:

  • Define, technology roadmaps, plans and strategies for a technology stack that supports the growth, operation, and evolution of global business lines including Energy solutions, EV Charging and Sustainability.

  • Evaluate new technologies through agile product development and provide solutions to business teams quickly and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with analytics teams to create new use cases that improve the businesses, operations, market development, revenues, trends, and challenges.

  • Build a team of business analysts, technology domain experts and hands-on technologists alongside vendor partners to support the portfolio.

  • Establish budgets and support cases for technology investments.

  • Develop KPIs, SLAs and other relevant metrics and manage to metrics to ensure a stable, available technology stack and provide smooth operation of the business.

  • Develop production technology support and staffing models. Provide ongoing oversight and management of assigned technologies.

  • Develop and utilize effective change management processes for technology updates and implementations.

  • Work across multiple lines of business to gather technology requirements, develop solutions and successfully implement technology plans.

  • Ability to work off hours, support multiple time zones and international locations.

  • Up to 25% travel to support and grow a burgeoning global business is expected.

  • Experience with leading technology teams covering one or more of Solar, EV Charging, Energy management (such as battery solutions) and Sustainability technology is required.

  • 10+ years managing technical design and implementation teams.

  • 10+ years supporting business critical applications.

  • Ability to communicate at an executive level, able to present complex technology concepts in terms that can be understood by non-technical business leaders.

  • Strong project and program management skills. Able to organize, plan, prioritize and address conflicting wants and needs of business partners.

  • Agile, Scrum, SDLC, Design Thinking or comparable systems and software development frameworks.

  • System evaluation, design, integration, and architecture.

  • Basic understanding of network technologies and communication protocols.

  • Financial skills, business case development, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Hiring Salary Range of $177,000 - $220,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target and RSU's) to be determined by the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
