This is an open ended contract position.  (1st & 2nd Shift Available)

Meet the team:

The Testing Operations Team is responsible for supporting the in-vehicle testing needs at the closed course testing facility. The Track Operator will be responsible for operating motor vehicles and supporting vehicle testing and training activities on the private test track.

What you’ll do: 

• Operate motor vehicles to assist with vehicle testing on the test track
• Perform vehicle inspections pre and post shift
• Set up equipment on track to aid in testing and vehicle training activities. Assist with equipment breakdown and proper storage
• Communicate via two-way radio and messaging systems effectively between track users
• Perform general maintenance duties of test track grounds and testing equipment
• Assist with coordination efforts between track activities
• Read and understand vehicle test plans and follow written and/or verbal test procedures
• Provide test support as an actor, cyclist, or other form of realistic scenarios
• Follow safe work practices and safely operate a motor vehicle

What you'll need to succeed:

• No degree necessary
• Flexible schedule to assist with testing at different times during the day
• Detail oriented mindset with a focus on safety, procedure, and organization
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs
• Knowledge of and comfortable with using basic hand and power tools
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record over the last 3 years
• Ability to pass a background check
• Able to follow written and verbal directions given by the supervisor or customer
• Ability to drive for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work in inclement weather and outdoor environments

Nice to haves:

• Motorcycle license
• Commercial drivers license (CDL)
• Forklift experience, ability to get forklift certified
