The Senior Technical Trainer, as part of the Product Enablement team, enables ClickUp employees' success by working independently and collaboratively to analyze, design, develop and deploy appropriate product enablement solutions to employees at all levels, particularly for our technical customer-facing teams including Technical Support, Professional Services, and Solutions Engineering.

 

You will interact with stakeholders throughout the organization and collaborate cross-functionality to provide high-impact solutions including immersive product training for new hires, ongoing product release education, and ad-hoc systems and tooling training.

 

The Role:

  • Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams on development and delivery of enablement content that can be adjusted to meet the needs of technical audiences with varying levels of technical depth
  • Work with the Product Enablement Manager to scale product education programs for new and existing employees through multiple methods of delivery
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training experiences with enablement resources for new and existing ClickUp employees such as presentations, videos, courses, workshops, quizzes, and more
  • Maintain product and systems training curriculum, training content, and materials
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training experiences to enable our employees' success with understanding ClickUp and how customers use ClickUp
    • This includes on-demand resources, instructor-led training, and leave behind materials
  • Work closely with Customer Enablement team trainers to develop training materials
  • Partner with internal enablement and onboarding teams to train internal employees
  • Partner with revenue teams (CSMs, CS, PS, SE, Sales) to align content to set up their new employees for success
  • Define and manage a repository for training content.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate learning program effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of training and education strategy including:
    • Define methodology and training strategy for new hires
    • Define assessment program for new hires
  • Identify and define key metrics for assessing training effectiveness.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ yrs in education/training development
  • Excellent oral presentation and facilitation skills
  • Experience designing and developing training with technical subject matter content, ideally for SaaS products, with multi-media authoring tools
  • Experience in learning delivery, via web conference tools, & in person
  • Familiar with Revenue and Technical teams (i.e. Sales, Solutions, Success, and Technical Support)
  • Hands-on experience with integration platforms (Unito, Workato, Zapier, Integromat)
  • Experience with Chrome DevTools, REST API (specifically with troubleshooting calls), SSO provisioning (OKTA, SAML, etc.), On-Prem security configurations, HTML, Javascript, and SAML, TrackJS, LogzIO, or similar tools preferred.
  • An excitement for training that gets you energized to lead training and connect with people.
  • Ideally a background in Project Portfolio Mgmt or Collaborative Work Management space.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, building relationships and influencing others to get things done, and prioritization
