It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

About this Role:

Overview:

As the Senior Associate, Issue Management you will collaborate with regulatory subject matter experts and business partners to coordinate the investigation and resolution of consumer protection and wealth management issues identified by the business and through compliance testing activities. This role operates within a highly collaborative team environment to drive organizational change through risk measurement, analysis, remediation, and reporting. Additionally, this role requires analytical thinking and in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and expectations related to issue resolution methodologies, breaking down complex information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/ sensitive information.

On any given day you'll be:

  • Providing issue management support to business partners by ensuring issue summaries and corrective actions are well written and align with expectations of bank standards
  • Tracking and monitoring progress to ensure business issues are remediated timely
  • Reviewing and validating resolution files to ensure remediation was carried out appropriately
  • Preparing reporting and enhancing trending and analysis for business partners and management
  • Coaching personnel within all levels of the organization on the issue management workflow
  • Preparing for and responding to internal and external compliance examinations
  • Supporting the ongoing evolution of issue management requirements and procedures


The ideal candidate will be:

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years in consumer protection and wealth management compliance or operational risk management
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • At least 1 year project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.)
  • Experience building consensus, gaining buy-in and addressing complex issues within all levels of an organization


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years' experience managing issue resolution at a mid- to large sized financial institution
  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics or related field
  • A year or more experience with SQL


Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $71,210.00-$114,158.00

IMPORTANT - This range is for the primary posting location of: Omaha - FN Tower

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
