Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative IT Specialist I to join our IT team. This position will drive to an understanding of our quote to cash system lifecycle for the purpose of using data to perform audits to maintain our IT system data integrity. Experience working with large data sets and understand how to analyze them using various statistical methods. Expectation would be to support data analysis with valuable information to forecast trends and drive various benefits within our IT application and process space.

This position demands a self-starter who is comfortable engaging architects, IT sponsors, business partners, and peer developers to achieve goals working across functional groups within the expanse of Windstream environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to work with multiple groups, able to work independently
• Provide prompt and succinct progress updates
• Meet deadlines and audit due dates
• Strong communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of telecommunications is required
• Ability to Identify and correct data integrity issues
• Ability to visualize and provide automation ideas and requirements, for accelerated correction throughput
• Document cleanup steps for fallout opportunities

Required Skills:

• Ability to work with business users
• General understanding of billing, design, monitoring business functions
• Willingness to tackle tough problems and learn new things
• Ability to work with reporting tools such as Tableau

• Knowledge with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Dev/Ops)

Education and Experience:

College degree in a Technical or a related engineering or science field and 0-2 years professional level experience; or 4+ years professional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required
