Chevron is accepting online applications for the Senior Wells Technologist position in Houston, TX through June 13th, 2022 at 11:59 pm CST.

This role will use the functional experience to execute on the prioritized initiatives for the Wells Digital Platform and the Wells Standards & Requirements teams. The candidate will work on the development and maintenance of Wells Global requirements in accordance with INCOSE guidelines to support digital ingestion and systems engineering solutions. They will help design and maintain a coherent requirements structure (i.e., flow, metadata, and links) and safeguard the integrity of requirements by assigning appropriate permissions and verifying compliance to approval workflows. They will support the Wells Digital Product Lines of Design and Assurance, providing data interpretation, data mining, and data integration for the Product Owners and Architects to assist in their strategic delivery goals.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrable skills in data management
  • Editing and checks for grammar, clarity, and audience comprehension
  • Mapping and migration of data across data platforms


Required Qualifications:

  • Education (technical college)
  • 5-10 years of Data Management, Requirements Management, or Technical Writing Experience
  • Digital Requirements Management System (e.g., Polarion)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Database certifications
  • ≥ 10 years' experience of same similar to above
  • Experience with Requirements Development using INCOSE guidelines
  • Experience in working with SQL
  • Experience in working with Landmark EDM/EDT
  • PowerBI / Data visualization


Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered.
