Position Overview:

The Senior Technical Specialist, System 6 reports to the VP Development Manager-System 6. This role collaborates with developers, analysts, and customers to design, develop and deploy software to enhance business processes within System6. One of the key objectives of this role is to create a delivery model that ensures new features and functions are developed, tested, and deployed on a regular basis and that new features are continually developed and added as they are built. To achieve this, a delivery model will need to be implemented that supports this rapid rollout.

Responsibilities:

Analysis and Design

Work with the other team members and the regional program leads, analyse new requirements, problems and business processes and design appropriate solutions.

Programming

Develop and test new functionality for the system and ensure that it is thoroughly tested and of high quality.

Adherence to Chubb Standards

Chubb has Architectural, Information Security and infrastructure policies and standards and you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to these policies, procedures, and standards.

Creation of Automated Deployment Models (DevOps)

Contribute to transition to CI/CD and DevOps best practice

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline or equivalent
  • Industry qualifications and Azure certifications are an advantage
  • C#, .NET Framework 4.5 ++, SQL Server SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers
  • MVC 5, jQuery, BootStrap
  • TFS, Git, GitHub
