Senior Specialist - IT Systems Engineering

We will count on you to:

Continually improve DevOp tools, processes, and procedures. Build, maintain and scale infrastructure for production environments. Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery systems. Participate in ongoing design, implementation and maintenance of systems and tools across Cloud stack. Work closely with the Development teams to help ensure end-to-end quality. Write and maintain infrastructure design and documentation. Own production incidents and issues to provide level 2 response to infrastructure incidents and alerts. Work with third-party vendors to resolve infrastructure issues. Responsible for full stack development opportunities depending on the candidate's capabilities. Monitor automation by making sure the correct monitors are deployed at the application level so that any failures can be quickly detected and repaired. Accountable for AWS VPC, Network management and Data center operations. Integrate JIRA with Jenkin's CI/CD pipeline to manage Production promotions. Implement best practices on Docker setup limiting image size, container's cpu and memory usage. Create DSL seed jobs to build multi branch pipelines automatically based on the application configuration. Integrate Nexus to deploy both snapshot and release artifacts for maven artifacts and docker images. Use Docker Swarm to run containers on AWS infrastructure with zero downtime during deployments, including rolling updates, replicated mode and global mode. Create and manage Helm charts, Namespace, Deployments, Services & Pods for Kubernetes. Configure containers to send logs to Splunk using journal reader. Configure SecOps tools such as SonarQube, Blockduck, WhiteHat and Sysdig for code coverage and vulnerability scanning across the board.

What you need to have:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, as a Software Engineer, Senior Technical Lead, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with: JIRA; Oracle; LINUX; Java; Unix; SQL; Enterprise Datawarehouring; Data Modeling; Data Lake; Toad; and XML. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Amazon Web Services (AWS); Docker; Jenkins; Groovy; Bitbucket; Sonar Qube; Blackduck; and Kubernetes.
