Our Opportunity: 

Chewy is looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our Chewy Brands Team based in Dania Beach, FL.   In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping the Chewy Brands Sourcing team to develop and deliver the best in class pet products. What You’ll Do: 

• Manage packaging review for SKUs, Product Descriptions, UPCs (including scanning barcode) & content accuracy by cross-checking our master file and systems.  
• Set up new vendors and complete item setups including shell sku setup, order-ready setup, and content-completion setup. Complete new product cost analysis.  
• Manage product setups, updates, and cost changes through Jira tickets.  
• Own Fulfillment Center appointment tracking specific to new launches for final ship and launch.  
• Involved in the product design, sample reviews, feedback presentations, and email communication directly with vendors.  
• Review samples against spec sheet & look for improvements from a functional and workmanship perspective. 
• Organizing and properly tagging, labeling, and shipping samples that are designated for PR, Photography, Video & CSR review. 
• Work with Marketing to capture appropriate image shotlist and details for kick-offs.  
• Assess incoming customer reviews on daily basis to ensure product integrity and flag reviews based on potential product improvements. 

• Manage prioritization of samples based on timeline. 
• Work with legal to confirm no patents and no infringement on products based on competitor SKUs. 
• Maintaining reporting including the Weekly Frisco Project Tracker and Work In Progress reports that include every vendor and product cost, description, and SKU. 
• Oversee product reviews, product pages, and Chewy Labs survey to provide feedback on improvements back to vendor.

• Ability to travel into the Dania Beach office regularly to assemble samples and work on manuals

• Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects – prioritization and planning.
