As Senior Manager for Remote Access Systems, you will lead a team of skilled IT professionals to build, maintain, and operate a variety of systems that allows a global workforce to securely access the company network. You will leverage your knowledge of client operating systems, network routing, encryption, authentication, and access controls to ensure compliance with company, federal and industry standards. The candidate will possess strong technical and interpersonal skills and will be responsible for maintaining documentation, diagrams, change control processes, knowledgebase articles, and disaster recovery plans.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day engineering, integration, and operations for all assigned remote access systems.

• Ensure timely system updates for firmware and VPN client software to mitigate defects and vulnerabilities.

• Implement ITIL based standards for change control, configuration management, incident resolution, and problem management.

• Leads troubleshooting efforts to isolate, document, and remediate VPN related problems.

• Prepare network documentation, technical presentations and reports as required.

• Recommend system enhancements and upgrades to expand capacity, to increase performance, to meet compliance requirements, and to simplify the user experience.

• Coordinate upper tier support with other enterprise level teams, business unit staff, contracted partners, and equipment vendors.

• Participate in customer satisfaction surveys and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Participates in researching and defining and testing next generation remote access components.

• Collaborates with architecture teams to provide design, feasibility, and network optimization.

Education: Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
