Senior Business Systems Analyst (Product)
Blueprint Income is a leading fintech company in the annuities market, recently acquired by MassMutual. Blueprint Income uses technology to build the next generation of retirement income products that enable Americans to retire with more security for less money. Our online platform enables the purchase of simple annuities from 35+ insurers directly by consumers. Blueprint Income operates independently, with a focus on accelerating our growth trajectory and serving customers, insurance companies and partners. Strategic initiatives to deliver on this vision include expanding the company go-to-market approach and building back-end capabilities, potentially leveraging the Haven Technologies platform, in order to deliver a true low-cost, hassle-free platform to customers and distribution partners.
We are seeking talented professionals who are comfortable working in a small, high caliber team that will grow Blueprint Income. Primary responsibilities of this position
Analyze and develop Blueprint Income's business and digital operations, including identification of systems problems and recommendations to improve
Own product requirements and use case definition for multiple product verticals across the customer journey
Develop and diagram systems workflows and dataflows
Test and validate code prior to release
Ideate & participate in user research
Continuously analyze and assess the health of the product and its performance against OKRs
Work closely with subject matter experts, Product Owners and Software Engineers to ensure requirements are understood, built and implemented to expectation
Serve as a change agent for organizational improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business or related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in Agile/Scrum
Experience supporting online marketplace or ecommerce product preferred
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Agile/SCRUM experience specifically in Story/Acceptance criteria development
Extremely organized, detail-oriented individual who is capable of self-starting, self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, multi-hat wearing, startup environment
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Technical knowledge and experience within information technology, computer programming and management information systems
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business priorities and a strong work ethic
Experience with behavior based analytic tools (Google Analytics, Woopra, etc)
Familiarity with SEO & web accessibility best practices
