Working Location Statement
This position has the option to work in one of our key hubs (San Ramon, CA, Tempe, AZ, Omaha, NE) or to work remotely as long as it is in within our 27 state working footprint which includes AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY, NY.
Job Description Summary
Responsible for managing a team of risk management analysts and technical writers that cover a range of risk management activities. Will focus on documenting the Bank's quantitative models and preparing the narrative portions of regulatory submissions. This position will be actively involved in the development of models, as well as, creating written documentation that demonstrates that the models are both statistically and economically sound and that they are fully compliant with all regulatory and internal model risk management standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Interact with quantitative developers to develop a full understanding of how the models work including their specification, key assumptions, and limitations
- Schedule major portions of the model documentation and the qualitative supporting information for the regulatory submissions
- Draft major portions of the model documentation and the qualitative supporting information for the regulatory submissions
- Work with model developers to improve existing model documentation
- Translate model documentation into presentations for senior management
- Develop a deep understanding of risk management, stress testing, and the capital management process
- Develop team members and ensure the staff receive adequate training, including cross-training across the multiple functions

Required Experience
- Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one area.
- Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
- Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Annual Hiring Range:
$ 98000-115000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
- In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for Annual incentives.
