Your Role:

As a Quality Team Member, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to build best in class vehicles.  You will play an integral role ensuring world class quality production for the Hanford manufacturing facility.  You will work collaboratively with other manufacturing teams to inspect, rework, audit and perform basic problem solving.  You will be a key element in ensuring overall quality minimizing defects and process efficiency. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Evaluate parts or assemblies at the start, middle and end of production runs
  • Guide production teams to properly disposition parts as good for use, needs repair, or scrap
  • Document & Communicate any identified defects
  • Escalate concerns that are not being properly resolved in your immediate work area
  • Comprehend production quality standards and determine if ongoing production meets those standards
  • Create detailed daily record keeping and reporting of quality issues that will be referenced by technicians, engineers and management
  • Communicate emerging and trending quality issues to prevent negative impact to the factory
  • Construct and maintain strong relationships with members of all nearby teams
  • Establish first line of defense for immediate containment activities.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skillset to engage and troubleshoot new quality issues
  • Perform various layered audits across the manufacturing environment including document, part, and process
  • Use basic measurement tools to validate and/or confirm ongoing changes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in production or manufacturing quality assurance environment
  • Organized & proactive mindset
  • Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
  • Experience with measurement and inspection tools is a plus. (Calipers, Torque Wrenches, Metal Stones, Measuring Tape, etc.)
  • Experience with aluminum and/or steel defect remanufacturing is a plus
  • Experience with training peers or co-workers is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
  • A genuine fascination for the electric vehicle field and a commitment to global change
  • A true sense of determination… and hopefully a sense of humor

Hourly Pay Range:

($17.50/hr - $19.50/hr DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
