WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

This is an exciting role with an opportunity to shape the Procurement Digitization & Ops function at Box. In this position you will own, support, maintain, & analyze our current procure-to-pay processes, recommend solutions, lead the implementations and user testing as the procurement business owner,  and manage/report key procurement & business metrics. You will also have the opportunity to design and implement a Supplier Performance Management program and a Supplier Diversity program. We are looking for a strong professional with a solid understanding of the Source-to-Pay (Procure-to-Pay) processes end-to-end, familiarity with innovative technologies, and the ability to transform business challenges into solutions. You will help identify, evaluate and implement procurement tools to add efficiency and automation to improve internal customer experience. This hands-on, transformational role reports to the Head of Sourcing and Procurement Operations. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

In this role, you will work closely with key partners such as Sourcing Managers, Accounts Payable, Enterprise Business Systems, Legal and the rest of the enterprise to advocate for and continuously improve the procurement cycle and streamline processes. You will:

  • Serve as a Procurement Systems & Ops Partner supporting the 3rd-party Evaluation (3PE) process, procurement process,  supplier performance management program and supplier diversity program across Box
  • Be familiar with sourcing & procurement systems like Certa (supplier on-boarding), Scout RFP, Coupa PO, BidOps (supplier diversity reporting), SupplyHive (supplier ESG & QBR questionnaires)
  • Develop, manage, automate and report key business metrics
  • Continuous improvement on our procurement process to improve collaboration and maximize efficiency across cross-functional teams to include automation and integrations
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to support and facilitate them through the 3rd-party evaluation process
  • Be proactive and ready to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact process flow 
  • Provide thought leadership and fresh perspectives on procurement and sourcing digitization
  • Own & advocate for the 3PE Policy and Support global procurement policy across the company
  • Recommend improvements to our global tracking of key documents (Contracts, Supplier Performance, Risks, etc.)
  • Support procurement processes and procedures with a focus on continual improvement and UX
  • Develop business relationships with internal partners with strong customer service focus and visibly demonstrate your dedication to improving processes

WHO YOU ARE 

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or a related field 
  •  3+ years experience in Sourcing or Procurement; Procurement Ops, preferred
  • Able to work independently with strong teamwork, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Has demonstrated the ability to simplify a complex, cross-functional process 
  • Able to influence, train, present to stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills to extract insights and make improvement recommendations
  • Have a passion for procurement and automation
