Job Posting
American National is seeking a Policy Change Specialist for our Galveston, TX location. The policy change specialist is a part of a support team that helps create a positive customer-focused experience for our clients. This position, within the Health Billing department, handles a variety of administrative and premium tasks based on the needs of those we serve.
Essential Functions
- Processes insureds' policy premiums paid and refunds owed.
- Completes insureds' policy address and name changes.
- Utilizes Excel for daily tasks and verify balances.
- Creates journal entries associated with policy processes performed.
- Creates internal and external correspondence.
- Assists in tasks upon request to support success of Health Billing department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- No experience required.
- Supervisory/management experience not applicable.
- Additional qualifications:
- Strong customer service and math skills.
Additional Requirements
- The position is physically comfortable; essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting and temperature; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc.
- A person in this position performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures, and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.
