Gopuff is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to join the Gopuff Health team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are looking for a self-starting and entrepreneurial strong leader. The Pharmacist an important and fast-paced role within Gopuff that requires drive, grit, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenge.

Responsibilities

  • Practice all state and federal pharmacy regulations for handling and management of prescriptions and/or prescription drug products-
  • Collaborate with pharmacy manager to develop pharmacy program and products
  • Ensure the proper documentation and secure storage of controlled substances
  • Maintain all security and privacy regulations regarding the use and handling of protected health information (PHI) in compliance with federal and state HIPAA regulations
  • Ensures and behaves with a focus on excellent customer service and clinical care-Participates in achieving business goals and metrics for the pharmacy
  • Assists pharmacy manager with managing all functions for pharmacy technicians such as hiring, training, scheduling and performance management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania in good standing-Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy
  • Ability to work flexible shift times-Mail service/Mail order pharmacy experience is a plus

For Liston Ogana, a senior engineering manager at Gopuff, the biggest thing new hires can look forward to is working with a great group of talented people. “Since starting at Gopuff, I’ve been amazed by how humble and helpful everyone is,” he said. Ogana oversees teams dedicated to building a world-class customer experience, whether that involves creating efficient routing via machine learning or developing an interactive UI. Under Ogana’s guidance, the post-order engineering team is currently building a post-order customer interface that is interactive, map-focused and informative. “It will provide a new experience that will ultimately reduce the number of customer delivery status inquiries,” he said.

Maria Socaci’s team is trying to make this vision a reality with its new workstream. “Our objective is to empower direct-to-consumer brands to venture into the realm of instant delivery by harnessing Gopuff’s instant fulfillment and delivery capabilities,” she said. This ongoing project reflects the company’s focus on experimentation and exploration.
