We are a remote-first, global team, but provide the option of working in-office in San Francisco, New York City, Indianapolis, Sioux Falls, Porto, and Singapore.

As part of our overall Security Team, you will hold a crucial role managing day-to-day data center operations and ensuring that our physical presence in these data centers is safe, reliable, repeatable, and resilient. 

You will:

• Maintain the operation of Anchorage's data center locations.
• Manage data center equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with security team to maintain effective data center access controls.
• Own and drive the expansion plan and roll-out for new data center locations.
• Provision new data center equipment.
• Support engineering in troubleshooting and maintenance of data center equipment.
• Assist team with other SecOps tasks.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

• Experience in Linux system administration.
• Expertise in data center operations.
• A passion for clean cabling and a pristine server rack.
• A proven track record of reliably executing hardware deployment projects.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

• You have experience with server configuration automation tools like Puppet or Ansible.
• You have experience with Hardware Security Modules.
• You have experience with physical data center security.
• You have experience with containerization.
• You enjoy the comforting white noise of a data center in full operation.
• You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)

• Data Center: Linux Administration, Cabling and Organization, Networking Basics, Firewall Rules, Logging and Monitoring, and Hardware triage and debugging
