The Physicians Mutual Direct Marketing Group is seeking a Marketing & Campaign Specialist to perform detailed analysis and create and maintain promotional components and administration systems. In this role, you would support new product implementations, serve as subject matter expert on configuration of marketing documents and systems, and provide guidance for decisions related to the creation and usage of marketing documents and customer correspondence.

What you will do in this role:

  • Gathering data for project objectives
  • Serve as a point person between varied departments to coordinate development and production of marketing medias: direct mail, TV, digital, print, web, etc.
  • Developing project deliverables to include proof reading and quality checks
  • Supporting marketing business systems (Aprimo, Visual, Mainframe, Campaign Plan) updates
  • Researching and implementing solutions for production delays and system errors
  • Coordinating efforts with internal and external personnel
  • Providing guidance and support to the development, execution and management of document testing strategies
  • Media Production (getting marketing pieces out the door, to bring prospect & leads)


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or a similar field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience (required)
  • 5 years of insurance experience, including at least 3 years exposure to document creation and management processes and the processes supporting print functions (preferred)
  • Previous experience with document creation prints software utilizing conditional logic and table maintenance is a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external (i.e., vendors and outside mail shops)
  • Strong project management skills, combined with a sense of urgency and accountability, to plan, organize, prioritize, problem solve and execute requirements related to document creation and management in a dynamic, changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills to manage tasks and provide strategic direction to project teams
  • High level of initiative and self-confidence to be able to identify, initiate and complete tasks with minimal supervision
