We're looking for a data-driven and analytical individual to manage the equilibrium of borrower loan demand and investor supply of capital on our platform.


You'll lead monthly loan allocation management and work with members of our Investor Operations, Financial Institutions, and Capital Markets teams to ensure investor orders are filled correctly and efficiently based on a variety of inputs. You'll apply modeling techniques to forecast weekly volumes based on funnel and verification data.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the correct amount of loans are allocated each day to investors based on their individual buy-box criteria, order amount, and portfolio target mix. This will be managed closely according to monthly investor orders.
  • Continuously monitor the pending loan funnel when making allocation decisions and make strategic, tactical, and data-informed decisions to increase or decrease allocation to individual investors throughout the month
  • Manage monthly investor targets and desired portfolio mix with extreme precision
  • Manage and use our internal tools to ensure investor’s eligibility criteria are met during each allocation
  • Partner with our Treasury team to manage the use of seasoner and warehouse facilities along with corporate cash when placing loans each day
  • Create reporting from allocation data to provide insights to internal stakeholders

Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking or management consulting; Data analytics, allocation forecasting or portfolio management experience at a fintech platform, asset manager, or investment bank
  • Bachelors or masters degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to data mine, analyze, take action, and communicate insights
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and ability to model in Excel
  • Experienced solving optimization problems
