Position Summary
The Corporate Digital and IT Team is seeking a dynamic team member to lead Lean Digital Automation activities. We are looking for a thought leader and change agent. This position will Champion Lean initiatives, process quality improvements, metrics, Digital tools and operations / manufacturing process automation. This role will support the global IT organization on key projects / initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement and elimination of waste. They will measure and report progress on an on-going basis using the defined Lean tools and processes. You must be a high energy process driven individual with great influencing skills. This role will be located in Cleveland, Ohio.Scope/Supervision and Interaction: Does Not Have Direct Reports.Position reports to the Enterprise Director, Digital & IT PMO
Responsibilities
Key Essential Functions:

  • Leads and guides Lean initiatives within the Digital & IT function. Works with leadership team on Lean projects using lean tools and metrics.
  • Develop and manage the Lean Strategy and quality program to be implemented function wide(focus on process standards & business systems to include MSS, JDE & SAP)
  • Lead Lean and Kaizen events.
  • Develop review processes and metrics for lean and process improvement Initiatives
  • Work directly with leadership to develop and implement productivity and process improvements using Digital IT tools.
  • Responsible for improving IT and business operational efficiencies, leading Lean initiatives, driving cost efficiencies, and implementing best practice standards and documentation.
  • Responsible for working with division, group, and corporate resources to implement best practices.
  • Lead Digital & IT High Performance Teams and develop metrics to track digital automation initiatives.
  • Assist in training / coaching Lean process skills, tools and methodologies individually and group settings as needed.
  • Serves as a catalyst for successful and sustained lean implementation.
    Qualifications
    Qualifications
  • 5+ years lean & quality experience preferred
  • Lean Six-sigma or similar problem-solving experience (PLS experience preferred)
  • Ability to articulate the desired state, purpose and value of lean and constantly moving in the direction of waste elimination.
  • Understanding of financial measurements and goals and has good analytical skills.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication & verbal skills to lead and support empowered employees in a team and all levels of management.
  • Good presentation skills to effectively share the success and ideas of the IT function
  • Ability to work with a wide range of individuals
  • Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven project management skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Agile experience needed; ScrumMaster certification preferred with knowledge of Azure DevOps for management of sprints, epics, etc.
    Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience in this field
  • Background in Lean, Quality, IT, Finance, or business operations
  • Lean 6 Sigma training or certification preferred
