About The Opportunity

The Lead, Global Advertising Technology & Operations supports the global and regional media teams at every step of the ad implementation process. This person owns and is accountable for technical implementation and integration (e.g. tagging and optimization) of ad technology into WeWork’s digital platforms. They advise on audience strategy and collaborate with our media agencies on audience implementation. This person is then also able to extract and synthesize our media data and report out to executive teams.

While a grasp on ad technology and complex technical platform integration requirements is a must, it is also critical that this person be able to connect this technology with our overarching marketing and media strategy. This connection is core to understanding how new and existing technology can both best serve marketing needs, and identify gaps in WeWork’s current tech stack.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage pixel governance for global WeWork properties

  • Partner with regional media teams to facilitate data-driven campaigns

  • Maintain media performance dashboards and provide reporting and data visualizations for monthly and quarterly reviews

  • Manage audience development, aggregation, and activation process for regional teams

  • Uphold best practices related to data strategy, segmentation and cross-channel activation of 1P, 2P and 3P data for all regions

  • Maintain in-depth expertise in the constantly evolving digital marketing technology landscape across technical capabilities, quality control, and platform integration

  • Maintain in-depth expertise in the constantly evolving digital marketing technology landscape across technical capabilities, workflow and navigation, process integration, quality control, and platform integration

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as technical lead in measurement, marketing/ad tech, ad ops or comparable field.

  • Experience creating audience targeting methodologies in accordance with business goals.

  • Deep understanding of analytics and dashboarding tools including Google Analytics, Datorama, Tableau, and Data Studio.

  • Familiarity in core WeWork ad tech platforms: Liveramp, 6sense, Google Tag Manager, media tags on microsites, DCO Ad Servers (dynamic creative optimization), etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional peers, managers, subordinates, and partners to achieve business results

  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a user-friendly manner

  • Ability to define and implement processes and policies

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage expectations

  • Strong time management skills and experience balancing multiple projects at once

  • Reliable, proactive, and focused team player

  • Adaptable in an ever-changing environment and works well under pressure

  • Great interpersonal skills and with an eagerness to learn
