Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a talented FI/CO Support Analyst to further extend our world class information technology environment.

This is primarily an individual contributor role but will often have tasks on a DES project when designs and solution deliverables are needed. This role requires the ability to concisely evaluate the business data and information requirements of our globally dispersed, end-user organizations and recommend and drive the solution/domain architectural direction and solution design that best meet these business needs but stay within the overall strategic architectural directions and guidelines. This candidate will contribute to BI domain specific data/information roadmaps, BI reference architectures and patterns, BI data standards/guidelines, and ensure solution architectures embrace defined strategies.

Here is how you can contribute to our team and the key functions that you will do on the job:

  • Work with development team on Digital Financial modernization project using SAP HANA and BRIM and core Finance.
  • Work primarily with Book to Bill process in SAP which includes ( Order Capture, Order processing, Master data, Core Finance etc) and be able to come up with the innovative solution for the enterprise
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, strong understanding of application frameworks, infrastructure, and comfortable navigating through multiple systems and reading code
  • Support Autodesk enterprise growth and ensure stability through maintenance activities on Enterprise Applications
  • Design, develop, re-factor, optimize, and enhance application software utilizing various technologies.
  • Work with open source tools, create API, rich dashboards and implement proactive monitoring



Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify applications that are strategic to generate roadmap ensuring short-term stability and long-term scalability
  • Maintain configuration in SAP HANA and ECC systems in support of current business processes and new project deployments
  • Support and participate in the governance and management of work request intake, scoping and scheduling by the team
  • Facilitate and negotiate prioritization of service requests with business leaders based on strategic drivers and anticipated business value (ROI)
  • Plan and scope the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications with the defined business portfolio
  • Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency, and develops strategies for improving or leveraging these systems
  • Collaborate in development of actionable and targeted application change management plans - including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan and resistance management plan
  • Ensure that processes exist and are used to design, develop, and install enhancements and patches/upgrades to systems and application software per business requirements and in line with vendor recommendations
  • Collaborate with business and IT in developing and maintaining documented procedures for management of systems, system configurations, and environments
  • Communicate regularly with business stakeholders, management chain and IT leadership on strategy and execution of application solution delivery
  • Advise during vendor evaluation and selection process; support contract renewal discussions through in-depth analysis of existing and potential vendors, product features, and return on investment decisions
  • Facilitate in establishing service level agreements with business unit and operational level agreements with IT service units
  • Increase visibility and awareness regarding business value of IT, identify opportunities to transform the business, and establishing a business partnership with the Executive Committee
  • Drive cost optimization by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions cross-functionally across business areas and generate economies of scale
  • Partner with team members in fostering the growth of trusting customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Take part in establishing team vision, mission, yearly operations goals, and tactical plans in alignment with key business areas, IT and the organization



Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have 8+ yrs of experience in SAP FICO with at least 2-3 end to end implementation / Rollouts
  • Experience in SAP S4 HANA will be an added advantage
  • Good functional and business process knowledge

- Banking Charging and Invoicing

  • Strong Knowledge of Finance and Costing processes such as GL, AR, AP, RAR, Product Costing, Taxation, Project systems, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge in designing and configuring solutions in SAP FICO, custom enhancements, testing and cutover activities.
  • Understanding of Integration points with other modules
  • ASAP/Activate methodology
  • Coordinate with Client and Offshore team and Client management
  • Must be able to communicate with Business users to gather and analyze Business requirements, and translate them into functional and technical requirements
  • Prepare and maintain functional specification, configuration documents, test plans and other documentation as per validation requirements
  • Work with Business SMEs and provide solutions, alternatives
  • Working with collaboration with extended team of functional and technical team members
  • Should be flexible in terms supporting activities as per project timings
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and critical thinking and innovation
